Jude Dominique as Gandalf - Most Original Costume Winner

Here at Rio we like to have fun! In fact, #9 of our 15 guiding principles is “Have Fun!” And what better way to have fun than to dress up in ridiculous costumes and ignore our diets for a day?

Every year we kick off the holiday season with Halloween, and everyone goes all out. Offices and cubicles are covered with cobwebs. Associates trick or treat around the building. And three brave souls lurk through the hallways to judge the costume contest.

Jaimie Verlander - Sugar Skull Mama - Scariest Costume Winner

Customer Care Team - Alice's Wonderland - Best Team Costume Winners

Teams at Rio get creative and inspired as a group. The best team costume winners are awarded with a team lunch.

Angela Parkes of the Customer Care Team was Alice in Wonderland's White Rabbit.

Kevin Meyer of the Warehouse Order Fulfillment Team came dressed as Box Man.

I’ll probably be fired for this little revelation, but I don’t wear a lot of jewelry. And by a lot, I mean any. In fact, the first jewelry I put on was my wedding ring this past July. Of course, now my finger rebels at the alien feeling of the thing, so I make up a lot of excuses to take it off. The edges are too sharp. It’s irritating my skin. Can’t wear jewelry while I’m playing sports. I don’t want to develop a tan line, honey!
