This time of year is all about getting kids outfitted, supplied and registered for the new school year. There’s a lot of excitement, enthusiasm and maybe just a little bit of the jitters when faced with new ideas, new connections and new challenges, but that’s what makes it a thrill!

Why leave all the fun to the kids?

Rio offers an exciting and ever-growing calendar of classes throughout the year covering all sorts of jewelry making skills: basic bench skills, soldering, metal forming, stone setting and more. How about a Hydraulic Forming class taught by Boony Doon Engineering owner G. Phil Poirier? We’ve just added two brand new classes this fall – The Art of Polishing taught by Rio’s own Ronnie Mares and Basic Plating by Pamela Engel, industry-recognized plating expert with decades of experience.

You can learn right here at Rio’s decked-out classrooms and even schedule a tour of our world-class, solar powered facility. Don’t leave the excitement to the kids! Check out our complete class schedule at Education in Motion and start honing your jewelry making chops today!
