A woodpecker made form silver and Colores resin. I like the graduated effect made by spinning the curing resin so that centrifugal force creates an uneven layer. The bird has no metal backing so that the end result is transparent/translucent. Not sure it is actually wearable but looks OK I think.
An attempt at making a hummingbird using colores resins – too many colours to count! The pendant has no metal backing so that the Denim Blue is translucent. The bird is made from silver foil 0.1mm thick and the outside of the pendant is sterling silver D wire. The bail is hand made. Wife and daughter proud owners of a couple of hummingbirds

Very cool, Richard!
Thanks for sharing these beautiful examples. I love the translucent, glowing quality they have.

A friend often asks me to create jewelry for his wife (also a friend) with little to no guidance. I love these projects as they let me creativity run wild! This Christmas he said “Yellowfin Tuna Necklace,” and this is what happened!
