Whenever I come across jewelry display tips & tricks, I meet them with some familiarity. I am reminded of interior design concepts such as proportion and scale, balance, contrast, rhythm and harmony, colors and textures, etc. Although I don’t claim interior design expertise, it is something that has always intrigued me. I’ve come to realize that many concepts used in interior design also apply to jewelry display.
Odd numbers and varying heights create dimension and movement. Dimension and movement create attention and promote interest, which is exactly what you want your displays to do. The more interest you create, the more you can move your customers’ eyes throughout your cases or along your booth. The more they see, the more you sell.
Risers provide a simple and elegant way to stagger the heights of your display, add dimension, and use the “rule of three” by creating odd groupings. Risers also allow a wide variety of configurations you can customize to best display your jewelry pieces.
