Another January, another Rio In Motion! Everyone had a great time in Albuquerque, and we were so happy to see so many of our old friends (and make loads of new ones). From metal forming and wax carving classes to demos from renowned industry pros, there was a lot to learn, and the attendees had great things to say about their experience.
We’ll turn the mic over to some of them…
Alix Morrison Railton:
“Rio Grande rocked my world this week–so much to see and do and learn at Rio In Motion. Your constant thoughtful attentiveness to the needs of your patrons goes beyond anything I have ever experienced. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”
Diane Marion Baecker Garcia:
“I attended Kate [Wolf]’s class and she is truly amazing. Learned a lot and look forward to crafting wax-carved settings at home. Thank you Kate! and Thank you Rio for the opportunity to participate. I had a wonderful time and met wonderful people. The warehouse tour was amazing…Thank you Molly! Thank you to all the staff at Rio.”
“I’m at Rio and have met Nate [Perea] and so many other amazing people, I wish I did not have to leave so soon. If you get a chance to go to Rio In Motion you will not be disappointed it is beyond AWESOME!”
Lynne McLennan Johnson:
“I was in [Bill Fretz’ forming stakes] class today. It was an HONOR! The best thing about it is I get to go back for day two tomorrow!”
“Ronda [Coryell] is the Queen of Argentium! She is fantastic at what she does and is an amazing teacher. Thanks Ronda for letting me pop in and take a peek at what you were doing with your class today. Anyone getting a chance to learn from this lady is very fortunate.”
